Dynamic Approaches to Learning in the History/Social Studies Classroom

The study of History is a challenging quest to seek the truth. In this session, participants will explore approaches to teaching and learning History & Social Studies in secondary education. The primary focus will consist of (1) structuring your class to promote cultures of thinking, ethics, and agency (2) strategies for teaching content, source analysis/historiography, and (3) assessment.

The application of educational technology to teaching and learning will also be addressed.
